Victoriv stop

The mosaic at the stop in the village of Viktoriv, Ivano-Frankivsk region, is dedicated to the native of the village, the Cossack Semyon Vysochan, who in 1648 led the uprising in Eastern Galicia, when Bohdan Khmelnytskyi's troops were approaching Lviv. Subsequently, Vysochan fought together with Ivan Bohun and Ivan Sirk. His life ended in exile in Muscovy in 1666. (author Oleg Leviy)
