City stele, Rivne

The mosaic stele in Rivne, depicting two women in traditional Ukrainian dress, underwent decommunisation twice. The Soviet coat of arms was painted over as early as 2014, while the city administration demolished the stele in 2023.

According to one interpretation, the stele commemorated the incorporation of Western Ukraine into the Ukrainian SSR.
