Loshak Ivan (Jan)

Ivan Loshak was born on February 24, 1913 in the village of Dubrnichy of the Zakarpattia Oblast. Art education he received in the Ukrainian studio of plastic arts in Prague and at the Czech Academy of the Fine Arts. He was mainly engaged in monumental plastic arts and painting. One of the last exhibitions of his works was carried out jointly with his wife, the sculptor Maria Leontovich. Ivan (Jan) Loshak died on September 19, 1990 in the town of Příbram in the Czech Republic, then was buried in Prague.
