"Kyi, Shchek, Khoryv and their sister Lybid", Puppet theater

Mosaic composition "Kyi, Shchek, Khoryv and their sister Lybid" on the facade of the former cinema "Rovesnyk" (currently the Puppet Theater) in Kyiv.

The author of the mosaic panel is Grygir Dovzhenko, an artist from the Boychuk School. In this mosaic he refered to the historical motives of the Kyivska Rus. In addition, the artist successfully revealed optically coloristic potential of the smalt - a favorite material of the ancient ukrainian masters.
